Day1: Kigali-Nyungwe Forest National Park
Pick up the Safari jeep, Hotel Receipts and Chimpanzee permits from the offices or being dropped off to your hotel by the company staff and orient you about the car and after embark into the rented safari jeep to drive to nyungwe forest national park which takes about 6-7 hours with lunch en route and visit to some of the Rwanda genocide memorials and reach at the lodge and relax. Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge/Nyungwe Top Hill Hotel and Gisakura Guest House. Meal plan: F/B
Day2: Chimpanzee Trekking
Early Morning breakfast and after drive for one hour to Chamudongo forest where you will experience the chimps in the forest and on this trek you will experience more other primates and birds. Return to the lodge for lunch, then in the evening relax at the lodge however community visits are ever available. Dinner and overnight as above, Meal plan: F/B
Day3: Nyungwe Forest-Lake Kivu
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Kivu with en-route visit to the Rwanda cultural sites and genocide sites. Relax at the shores of the Lake and then dinner and overnight at Lake Kivu water front beach Hotel/Paradise Malahide Guest House. Meal plan: F/B
Day4: Lake Kivu- Kigali
Have breakfast and after take an afternoon boat cruise along the Lake Kivu visiting to some fishing villages and on this cruise you will have a scenic view of the mountain Nyiragongo and then return to the lodge for your African cuisine and after embark on your safari vehicle and transfer back to Kigali for your return flight back home.
